OR OR OR OR The banks beg the federal government to award them trillions of dollars in stimulus/subsidy/TARP payments. The bank employees then go on vacation with your money. Smile. Welcome to Socialism.
Solution: All Alabama State Citizens will qualify for the Alabama Foreclosure Solution Program. Every State Citizen will be eligible to refinance their existing homes, second homes, beach homes and cabin by the lake homes under the rules and regulations of this new competitive cooperative program.
How? We will take a page out of their playbook. State bond money. To legally finance a $200,000 mortgage we need only sell $20,000 in bonds.
Why have all of your current elected representatives sat on their heels and done nothing about Alabama foreclosures? Is it ignorance, stupidity or guilt?
